Holly Freeman – The Cup of Tyrol – March 2016

Holly travelled to Austria to not only sing like they did in the Sound of Music – but more importantly to compete in her 2nd International Competition.  Competing in the Basic Novice A Category, Holly finished in 8th place out of 30 skaters with a new PB Score.


Christie Anne Shannon & Taylor McLeod – The Sportland Trophy – March 2016

Christe and Taylor travelled to Hungary to compete in the 27th Sportland Trophy.  First to take to the ice was Taylor who was competing in the Basic Novice A II Category.  This was Taylor’s 2nd international outing and she finished 21st with a score of 27.07.  Next Christie skated in the Basic Novice I category.  Christie is fast becoming an international pro with this being her 3rd allocation and finished 6th with a score of 32.28.  A huge well done girls – great skates and a very proud club!!  Full results from the competition can be found here – Sportland Trophy 2016 Results

Abigail Stewart – Hellmut Seibt Memorial – February 2016

A huge well done to Abigail Stewart who has just returned from her 1st International Competition in Vienna.  Abigail competed in the Basic Novice A Category at the Hellmut Seibt Memorial Competition and finished 15th with a score of 26.61.  A fabulous performance!  Full results of the competition can be found here – Hellmut Seibt Trophy 2016 Results

Cara McCabe & Taylor McLeod – 57th Grand Prix of Bratislava – December 2015

Cara and Taylor headed out to Slovakia to compete in the recent Grand Prix.  This was both girls 1st International allocation and they had such an amazing experience.  Both girls competed in the Pre Novice category with Cara finishing in 15th place with a score of 33.26 and Taylor finishing 21st with a score of 28.65.  Fabulous performances!  Full results can be found here –

Christie-Anne Shannon, Holly Freeman & Jamie Wright – The Volvo Cup – November 2015

Christie-Anne, Holly and Jamie travelled to Latvia to compete in the Volvo Cup.  This was Christie-Anne’s second International and Holly’s first and a chance for the girls to share the experience.  Competing in the Basic Novice A category, Christie-Anne gained a new PB of 34.70 finishing in 8th place and Holly finished with a score of 26.15.  Jamie is an International seasoned pro and he was competing in the Senior Men’s event.  Jamie finished overall in 6th place with a combined score of 154.30.
